"Within the heart of every stray lies the singular desire to be loved."

Scratchy is a beautiful medium-haired tortoiseshell cat. She is spayed, vaccinated and negative on all her infectious diseases. She is used to dogs and other cats as she has been a resident of Siena for over a year. She loves attention most of the time and would make a wonderful indoor cat for a loving family.
Scratchy
Currently, Scratchy is becoming one of our best employees.  For 'Room & Board' and an occasional kind word and ear scratching, she is great at helping with the paperwork and phone calls.

Fluffy is a loving, shy kitty who has been staying with us for several weeks for treatment.  Her previous owner loved her very much but was unable to care for her.  She is a special needs pet who will do well in a quiet, only-pet home with lots of TLC.  She will need a special diet for the rest of her life.  Otherwise, she is a sweet and loving little girl.

Marcus, the shaggy dog you may have seen in the Las Vegas Sun was adopted recently by a client who fell in love after one look.  He had been shaved down and bathed and was much cuter at the time!

Also, we truly appreciate all the donations by folks who read the above article in the Las Vegas Sun on Feb 20th or viewed the pictures on-line
In order to help defray the expense of more than 60 abandoned pets cared for by Siena and staff, we do accept donations for the Siena Stray Fund that will go directly to these animals' care.

We also appreciate any old towels, blankets, comfortors that help with padding and warmth for our patients. Your old linens and beddings are our patients security. Any thing we don't use we will send to a local shelter.

There are also numerous pets that have been spayed, vaccinated and socialized by Heaven Can Wait that are eager to find good homes.
