Meet our Staff

Dr. Susan Keeney has practiced small animal medicine for 26 years, 24 of them in Las Vegas. She was also the first female veterinarian in Las Vegas to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the Canine & Feline Specialty. Her particular interests are internal medicine, especially endocrinology (hormone medicine such as diabetes, thyroid problems and steroid problems) and spaying and neutering to help prevent pet over-population. Dr. Keeney believes in training, socialization and preventative medicine and strives to provide high-quality and patient-friendly service medicine. She loves hiking, reading, and spending time with her her pets  Stripes, a 12 year old Rat Terrier X, Joie, an 8 year old Rottweiler X, and Ultimate, an appropriately named frisbee chasing Border Whippet mutt. Pamela has been with Siena originally in 2007. She recently rejoined the team in 2018. Pamela has been a receptionist in the animal field for 26 years and has dipped her toe into human medicine- oral surgery- for 13 years. Often working both fields at once! Pamela is a workaholic who loves her 2 Dobermans, Bane, 8 years old, and Freya, 7 years old.  She enjoys watching football (Go Cowboys!), Hockey, and NASCAR.  

DeeDee has been with Siena since 2022. She originally went to City College of San Francisco for Criminology, but in 2005, she took a job as a receptionist in the Veterinary Field and has loved it ever since. DeeDee has had other jobs in customer service but the animals and the pet parents won her over. DeeDee has two fur babies of her own; Marshmellow, the 1 1/2 year old 'Zoomie Princess' and 4 month old 'Troublemaker', Jelly Bean.

Ryan has been with Siena since April 2018.  He is currently going to UNLV for Public Health. He loves to hike and go to music festivals. He loves to cuddle with all the fur babies that come to Siena. He has 2 fur babies of his own. Leeloo, the sweet 12 year old Rhodesian/Lab mix and Luna, the fluffy 5 year old cat. 

Emily joined Siena in July of 2018. She is currently in school getting her LVT license. Emily likes to paint and spend time outdoors on her free time. She has a 8 year old Papillion, Sokka, who likes to hang out with Siena's receptionists, a 2 year old cat, Cas, who was born at Siena, and a 1 year old cat, Finnick, who was found at 2 weeks old and hand raised. She a beta fish and 2 leopard geckos.  

Kassidy started at Siena June, 2021. She went to PIMA for the Veterinary Assistant program. She loves to play Apex and the Sims 4. Kassidy has 4 fur babies of her own. Beemo, the 7 year old 'King of the Pack' cat, Jade, the 7 year old cat who loves belly rubs, 6 year old Beerus, who loves head rubs at bed time, and ever so spoiled, 1 year old Kiwi, the baby of the family. 

Mario was born in the Philippines, raised in West Germany, and now lives in Las Vegas. He spends his free time hiking and riding his quad. Mario is married to a beautiful woman and treats her and her 2 boys with all the love and kindness he shows the Siena boarders.  He recently got Frankie, a sweet 8 year old Maltese Mix that he brings to work on occasion.
